Bebot is a versatile musical instrument designed to accommodate users of varying skill levels. Its core features include an intuitive touch control interface, replacing traditional keyboard input with a user-friendly system integrated into an animated robot interface that visually performs the music as it is played.

Though its exterior appears straightforward, Bebot houses a robust synthesizer engine capable of sound creation and editing, along with the application of various effects. The controls are designed for ease of use, encouraging experimentation and sound design, while also offering a comprehensive library of preset sounds for immediate playability.

One notable feature is the scale locking function, which ensures you won't inadvertently produce incorrect notes, facilitating straightforward play even on devices like an iPhone. Bebot supports polyphony, allowing multiple fingers to simultaneously play chords and harmonies. It also enables expressive gestures such as sweeping slides that are difficult to replicate on conventional keyboards.

While intended to be accessible and engaging, Bebot is also suitable for professional applications, having been employed both on stage and in studio settings by notable artists including Dream Theater, How To Destroy Angels, and The Flaming Lips.
